Notice. What are you believing?

Take a moment to notice what you're thinking today and give yourself the power to unlock a more positive future.
This quote really resonated with me today.
In general, most of us aren't used to taking a moment to pause and notice our thoughts. We are so used to hearing the internal chatter that we forget it's even there. More often than not, this internal self-talk is negative, unhelpful and lacks compassion.
However, the first step to positive transformation is in taking time to listen. The more we practice doing this, the greater the clarity we achieve about our self-beliefs.
Sometimes it can be surprising or even painful to hear what we are saying to ourselves. At the same time, as we tune in and listen we gain clarity that then gives us an ability to change the conversation that we're having with ourselves. And it's here that we can then achieve some profoundly positive changes in our thinking.
If you feel a moment of stress today, take a moment to focus on your breathing, feeling your stomach rise and fall a few times...then gently bring your attention to what your inner voice is telling you, maybe even write it down. Remember to be gentle on yourself, try not to judge your thoughts, or yourself.
